![]() ![]() Because I am a user of a lower version of Amarra I can get it for $489. ![]() This also leads me to a discussion of Price Amarra Symphony with IRC (DIRAC) is around $780 full price (I think there is a discount at the moment). It would have been great to be able to use the Filter created by DIRAC in Jriver, but it doesn't recognise the format. I will see If I can exclude the frequencies above a certain range.ī.d Are you using, the Amarra version of DIRAC eQ software or something direct from DIRAC? It just used the default of around 20Hz to 20Khz. The Amarra version of of Dirac (IRC) didnt mention anything about dragging the shaded area down to say 4Khz. Not sure why its measuring a dip at the 10k xo, I've played with different XO slopes and moved the delay on the supertweeter by the millimetre until it was measuring ruler flat there, will have to investigate a bit more, but probably because you can only get supertweeters in-phase for a super tiny listening area as any movement in seating height changes path lengths by large percentages of the10k wavelength (34mm), so cancelation is unavoidable (though not noticeable) if you slouch in your seatĪh I didnt realise you could truncate the upper frequency value. I've got it only EQing up to 4k as I trust my drivers linearly up high, and dont trust my uncalibrated mic. I found it a bit bass shy, probably because I do most of my listening at lower volumes than most, so have bumped up the 40hz marker by about 3db more, and the 100hz one by one or two. The post Eq Dirac curve always seems to end up ruler smooth though, with a 0.5db/octave downward slope that they've decided on as sounding flat/balanced. It shows a system in clearly in need of correction. ![]()
